Reason for Being
Master’s Reason-for-Being is to develop a breakthrough learning model, and to share it with the world.Master’s Reason-for-Being helps to bridge the gap between its Mission to develop Master Learners and its vision to produce Profound Learning. It answers the question, why do all of this? Profound Learning is the result of numerous best practices applied by the teachers within the context of our Governing Principles resulting in outstanding learning by most students and not just a few. These best practices are analogous to the ingredients in baking a cake, the cake is Profound Learning, and the ingredients are the best practices. The breakthrough is not found in any one practice but rather in a collection of practices and conditions that produces learning outcomes for all students that could not be achieved by any other means. The transferability of these practices opens the door for Master’s global vision.
The global Reason-for-Being keeps us humble, as we are well aware we cannot accomplish our goal without strategic alliances and partnerships with others who share our Vision.
